Romero Malone’s Journey

Romero Malone, a dedicated Tennessean, has always championed hard work and fairness. From his roots as a high school activist at George Washington Carver High School, where he led protests for better educational opportunities, to becoming the first person of color and LGBTQ+ individual to lead the SkyWest InFlight Association, Romero’s journey reflects his commitment to change. His experiences in the airline industry have deepened his understanding of how corporate interests can overshadow the needs of workers. 

Romero has a mission to advocate for fair wages, quality education, and healthcare for all Tennesseans. Romero’s advocacy extends to ensuring Millennials and Gen Z are represented in discussions on fair wages, education, and healthcare, as he recognizes the unique challenges these generations face in today’s economy. His background in union leadership shapes his commitment to protecting workers’ rights and ensuring equitable opportunities for every resident.
